CALL TO ORDER

• Turner Lewis called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. Zoning Board of Authority members Turner Lewis, Bill Pusey, and Tommy Fox were present. Missing were Kaitlin Stone and Jason Ashcroft. Also in attendance were Tina Blais, Paul Blais, Doug & Marilou Parkhurst, Joan & Kevin McQuade, and Matthew Gancz.

TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION

• Lewis opened discussion for the McQuade/McMillan road subdivision consisting of four lots. Lot 1, 3.24 acres, Lot 2, 3.07 acres, Lot 3, 3.11 acres, Lot 4, 73.78 acres (the parent parcel with 34.8 acres on the opposite side of McMillan Road.)   Lewis read the list of subdivision requirements as per the town-zoning permit, stated that with much consideration the four-lot subdivision request by Kevin McQuade was all in order, and had met all the requirements. He then asked the Commissioners if they had any questions or concerns they would like to discuss. There were no concerns from the other commissioners. Lewis then asked if there were any questions from the audience. Marilou Parkhurst asked what the long-term purpose of the subdivision was going to be. Gancz, who is the perspective buyer for all three, three-acre lots replied that he and his family were planning on building a single-family house and moving to Halifax permanently. Doug Parkhurst asked if the three, three-acre lots were all part of a much bigger parcel and where the portion of land that is being subdivided was located. Lewis replied that yes the three small plots were part of a much bigger parcel and that they were located on Pennel Hill road.
• Lewis then called for a vote to approve the four lot subdivision.  The vote passed 3-0.
