ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING MINUTES – DRAFT

May 13, 2025

CALL TO ORDER:

Chairman Tommy Fox called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Other board members present were William Pusey, Matt Gancz and Nancy McCrea. Tina Blais ZBA Secretary, Diana Conway and Edee Edwards were also in attendance.

CHANGES AND/OR ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA:

None

APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES:

The Board approved the minutes from 04/8/2025 with corrections. 

NEW BUSINESS:

Fox shared with the board emails he received containing information from the state about updating flood maps. Fox states that the board will make sure that the current zoning regulations are in line with the new flood map.

Edwards had some questions and confusion over a driveway permit and E991 address. Fox explained that the Zoning Board does not get involved in the E911 numbers.

Fox also reminded everyone to do the Ethics training and make sure to submit their certificate to the Halifax Secretary.

HEARING OF VISITORS:

Tina Blais asked the board if they wanted to take part in the Halifax Celebration by sponsoring or helping out with and event for the Old Home Days Celebration in September, 2025.
