SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

March 17, 2025

6:00 PM AT THE HALIFAX TOWN OFFICE

CALL TO ORDER

Edee Edwards called the meeting to order at 6:01 pm. Other Selectboard members present were Randy Pike, Rhonda Ashcraft, and Lori Marchegiani. Selectboard Secretary Emily Dow was present online. No members of the public joined in person or remotely. 

CHANGES AND ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA

None.

APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES

Edwards screenshared each set of minutes, sometimes using revisions prepared before the meeting, which were distributed “for information only” to the board in advance of the meeting. For others, the revisions were done live.

Pike made a motion to approve the regular minutes, as amended, for February 4, 2025. Ashcraft seconded. The motion carried 3-0-1, with Marchegiani abstaining. 

Ashcraft made a motion to approve the special meeting minutes for February 10, 2025, as amended. Pike seconded. The motion carried 3-0-1, with Marchegiani abstaining.  

Edwards made a motion to approve the February 18 2025 meeting minutes as amended. Ashcraft seconded. The motion carried 3-0-1, with Marchegiani abstaining. 

Pike made a motion to approve the minutes as amended for the Selectboard Informational Hearing for Town Meeting on February 25, 2025. Ashcraft seconded. The motion carried 4-0.  (Marchegiani was in attendance as a candidate.)

Pike made a motion to approve the special minutes, as amended, for March 1, 2025. Ashcraft seconded. The motion carried 3-0-1, with Marchegiani abstaining.

Edwards made a motion to approve the special meeting minutes, as amended for March 4, 2025. Ashcraft seconded. The motion carried 3-0-1, with Marchegiani abstaining.

Edwards made a motion to approve the minutes of the March 4, 2025 regular meeting as amended. Pike seconded it. The motion carried 3-0-1, with Marchegiani abstaining.

OTHER BUSINESS

HEARING OF VISITORS 

No visitors attended.

ADJOURNMENT

Marchegiani made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:34 pm. Ashcraft seconded the motion.

The motion carried 4-0.
