MINUTES

November 11, 2009

Call to Order

            The meeting was called to order at 8:55 PM.  Members in attendance were Vice Chair Norman Fajans, Christina Moore, Brian McNeice, Craig Stone, Howard Alboum, Sirean LaFlamme, and William Pusey.  Others in attendance were Margo Avakian, and Secretary Phyllis Evanuk.

Election of Officers

            The ZBA has been without a Chair since Mr. Maltese resigned.  Elections are for the period from November through March to insure that there is a Chair and Vice Chair to attend to the business of the Board.

            Mrs. Moore moved to approve Mr. Fajans as Chair.

            Mr. Pusey seconded the motion which carried 6-0-1, with Mr. Fajans abstaining.

            Mrs. Moore moved to approve Mrs. LaFlamme as Vice Chair.

            Mr. Alboum seconded the motion which carried 6-0-1, with Mrs. LaFlamme abstaining.

Approval of Minutes

            As there have been no matters pending before the ZBA, there have been no meetings called.  It came to the attention of the Board that the minutes of several prior meetings had not been officially approved.  To that end, they voted to approve the minutes as written for the meetings of June 10, November 12, December 10, and December 17, 2008, and January 14, March 11, and May 13, 2009.

            The meeting was adjourned at 9:07 p.m.
