TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION

Lewis opened discussion on the Smith/Vaughn RD subdivision.

Moore stated that in his research he found that the Smiths do not need a wastewater permit when subdividing according to a new law passed in 2019 by the Vermont state Legislator for undeveloped land.

Lewis opened discussion on short-term business rentals. Dow, Town Clerk stated that there have been several calls lately with people enquiring about short-term business rental and the need for a permit to do so. Dow was unsure of the answer so brought it up to the planning Commissioners.

Upon discussion the Board decided that there is no such requirement as of yet but would be something to look into in the future.

Lewis is also going to contact John Bennet for more info and guidance on the topic.
