HALIFAX COMMUNITY HALL

The Community Hall building is an 1844 historic classic New England building. It was built as a church and became the Community Club in 1952. It is a beautiful focal point in the village of West Halifax, in Halifax, Vermont, and serves a variety of purposes, including meetings, wedding receptions, dances, birthday parties, funeral lunches, and more. As of June 1, 2023, it hosts the Halifax Cafe on Thursdays and Saturdays 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM offering a gathering spot with coffee, tea, and bakery items available. The building is handicap accessible and has a new handicap bathroom facility.  More information about the Halifax Community Club is online at https://czresearch.com/halifax/. The Town of Halifax, chartered in 1750, is a classic old New England town where neighbor helps neighbor when the need arises.
