Chairman Turner Lewis opened the public hearing to consider the Royston Harlow Delaney subdivision request at 7:31 p.m. Planning Commission members present were Turner Lewis, Bill Pusey, Kaitlin Stone, & Tommy Fox. Jason Ashcroft was not in attendance. Also in attendance were Tina Blais, Paul Blais, Royston Delaney, Ken Duncan, and Thomas & Caterina Telesco.

Turner Lewis opened the meeting by explaining that we were having a hearing for a five-lot subdivision at 9230 Jacksonville Stage Road.

Lewis solicited comments and questions from those present.  Caterina Telesco asked if he intended to sell any off commercially. Royston Delaney explained that his intent was to divide into five lots, one lot being the existing house, one lot with the existing cabin, with the other three lots being for potential children or friends to build cabins on. He does not intend to sell any commercially or through a realtor.  He would like to give the parcels to friends with the condition that he would have first chance to buy the parcel back if they ever wanted to sell. Ken Duncan stated that Delaney had answered all his questions. He did have a concern as to the road frontage but stated it all looked up to standard. Fox made a motion to approve the Royston Harlow Delaney subdivision request. Bill Pusey seconded the motion, which passed 4-0.

The hearing adjourned at 7:46 p.m.
