Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 7:47 p.m. Planning Commission members Sirean LaFlamme, Brian McNeice, Bill Pusey, Stephan Chait, and Linda Lyon were present, as was Robbin Gabriel. No members of the public were in attendance.

Changes and/or Additions to the Agenda

None.

Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes

Stephan Chait made a motion to approve the 6/9/15 public hearing minutes as written. Brian McNeice seconded the motion, which passed, 4-0-1, with Linda Lyon abstaining.

Sirean LaFlamme made a motion to approve the 6/24/15 public hearing minutes as written. McNeice seconded the motion, which passed, 4-0-1, with Linda Lyon abstaining.

Chait made a motion to approve the 7/14/15 public hearing minutes with two edits. LaFlamme seconded the motion, which passed, 5-0.

LaFlamme made a motion to approve the 7/28/15 public hearing minutes with one correction. Linda Lyon seconded the motion, which passed, 5-0.

Chait made a motion to approve the 9/8/15 public hearing minutes as written. Lyon seconded the motion, which passed, 5-0.

Lyon made a motion to approve the 9/29/15 ZBA meeting minutes as written. Chait seconded the motion, which passed, 5-0.

Chait made a motion to approve the 10/13/15 ZBA meeting minutes as written. Lyon seconded the motion, which passed, 5-0.

New Business

Selectboard Request for Joint Meeting
The ZBA has received a request from the Selectboard for a joint meeting to discuss the legal reasoning behind the Zoning Board’s decision on the C.A. Denison conditional use application. The Board has scheduled a joint ZBA/Selectboard meeting in the Halifax Town Offices on Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., immediately following a brief Planning Commission regular meeting.
