Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 6:10 p.m. Selectboard members Lewis Sumner, Mitchell Green, and Bradley Rafus were present, as were Dora Green, Peggy Rafus, and Robbin Gabriel.

Changes and/or Additions to Agenda

Lewis Sumner added the WSWMD net metering solar contract, which needed to be re-signed. The Board had approved and signed the document at their February 21^st, 2017 meeting, but Encore Energy asked the Board to sign a new copy, as the first had a “draft” header on it which should have been removed. Board members signed the new copy.

New Business

Town Garage Generator Estimates
The Selectboard reviewed four bid estimates for a replacement generator at the town garage. Powers Generator submitted a $23,000 estimate, JC Electric was $16,500, Lamoureux Electric was $21,316, and New Hampshire Generator Installers was $18,400. JC Electric’s price was on a 36KV Generac generator; the other three offered a 30KW Kohler. Sumner made a motion to approve JC Electric’s $16,500 estimate for a 36KW Generac generator to be installed at the Town Garage. Mitch Green seconded the motion, which passed, 3-0.

Post Roads Notice
Green made a motion to post town roads for mud season overweight limits. Brad Rafus seconded the motion, which passed, 3-0. Restrictions are in place March 7^th to May 15^th. Sumner noted the signs can come down early if we have a dry spring.

Sign Overweight Permits
The Board signed five excess weight permits.
