BOARD OF CIVIL AUTHORITY
September 3, 2025
Pursuant to notice the Board of Civil authority of the Town of Halifax, Vermont, met Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 7:00 P.M. at the Town Clerk’s Office to act on the following business:
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. the following members were in attendance: Patricia Dow, Lori Marchegiani, Randy Pike, Edee Edwards, Rhonda Ashcraft, Malcolm Sumner. Joan Courser, Kaitlin Stone and Craig Stone.
Edee Edwards moved to remove the following voters who have not voted in the previous two General Elections 2022 and 2025, and who did not respond to a certified letters mailing on March 18, 2023 by the BCA clerk:

Malcolm Sumner made a motion to authorize the Town Clerk to contact any voter whose status as a legal resident is unclear or unknown and to authorize the Town Clerk to remove his/her name from the voter checklist. Seconded by Craig Stone and so voted.
Craig Stone made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Edee Edwards seconded the motion and it was voted to adjourn the meeting at 9:42 P.M.
