The Community Hall building is an 1844 historic classic New England building. It was built as a church and became the Community Club in 1952. It is a beautiful focal point in the village of West Halifax, in Halifax, Vermont, and serves a variety of purposes, including meetings, wedding receptions, dances, birthday parties, funeral lunches, and more. The building is handicap accessible and has a new handicap bathroom facility. The Town of Halifax, chartered in 1750, is a classic old New England town where neighbor helps neighbor when the need arises.
