SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES-DRAFT

6:30 AM AT THE HALIFAX TOWN GARAGE
CALL TO ORDER
Edee Edwards called the meeting to order at 6:33 AM. Other Selectboard members present were Karen Christofferson, Rhonda Ashcraft, Randy Pike and Lori Marchegiani. Others present were Mike Fournier, Keith Stone, Wade Janovsky, Ben Barnett and Travis Stone.
CHANGES AND ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA
Removed signing Highway Road Mileage Certificate, as Edwards didn’t have the form.
NEW BUSINESS
Edwards made a motion to go into EXECUTIVE SESSION for evaluation of employees / personnel matters under Under 1 VSA § 313 (a)(3). Ashcraft seconded it. The motion carried 5-0. Recording was paused at 6:36 AM.
Edwards made a motion to come out of executive session, it was seconded by Pike, it carried 5-0. Recording resumed at 7:55 AM.
Pike noted follow up would include posting online that if people have sensitive areas they could mark them with snow stakes, and the road crew, who does a great job, will try their best to avoid those areas if possible. Areas in the town right-of-way they still need to deal with the snow, but the crew will try to avoid the marked areas if they can.
Edwards suggested the road commissioners could follow up with individuals.
ADJOURNMENT
Ashcraft made a motion to adjourn. Marchegiani seconded. Motion carried 5-0. Meeting closed at 7:56 AM.
