TOWN OF HALIFAX
NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL FOR SUBDIVISION PERMIT
David B. Brewster of 114 Stowe Mountain Road, Halifax, VT had submitted
an application for a subdivision for property located at 195 Stowe Mountain
Road in the Town of Halifax. The proposed project describes as follows:
Taking a 90 +/- acres lot and subdividing into 2 lots. Lot #1 being 1 +/- acre
with 450 +/- feet of road frontage. Lot #2 being 89 +/- acres with 1050 feet
of road frontage.
On October 6, 2025, Mr. Brewster has requested that the above subdivision
permit application be withdrawn.
The Town of Halifax Planning Commission’s public hearing on this
application that was to be on October 14, 2025 has now been cancelled. A
copy of the application and additional information can be obtained at the
Halifax Town Office, Halifax, Vermont.
Pursuant to 24 V.S.A. 4464(a)(1)(c), participation in this local
proceeding is a prerequisite to the right to take any subsequent
appeal.
