CALL TO ORDER at 1:30 pm
APPROVAL OF MINUTES – minutes from special meeting on Feb. 25, 2026, were approved.
CHANGES AND/OR ADDITIONS TO AGENDA – None.
NEW BUSINESS
Pennel Hill Plot Plan Proposed Layout – The plot plan looks good. Paths between plots should be 6 feet wide. If paths are less than 6 feet wide, we will ask the surveyor to drop 38CD-44CD (keep 38AB-44AB), 37AB, 44AB, and renumber.
OLD BUSINESS
Review of Cemeteries – GR talked with Jeff about West Halifax unknown soldier grave; a cross used to be there but is many years gone. Cliff may be able to locate the spot. Then we could mark it. GR will call Cliff. We also need estimates and removal plans for the trees in West Halifax. Niles—GR talked with someone to put in an estimate to fill and seed with white clover the slope. Halifax Center—GR will get an estimate for top soil to fill on dips in the back of the cemetery and seed with white clover the slope and also about topsoil pricing for Whitneyville Cemetery problem areas.
