REGULAR MEETING MINUTES

December 9, 2013

Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 8:25 am at the town office.  Board members in attendance were Earl Holtz and Lewis Sumner (Edee Edwards was absent). Others in attendance were Jessica Bruno and Brad Rafus.

Road Commissioner’s Orders

The road commissioner’s orders were reviewed and signed.

Hearing of Visitors

Rafus discussed the uniforms budget. He had spoken with G&K Services and reported that they still have one more year left on their contract. G&K noted that if the town buys the clothing from them, they will let them out of the contract with no penalty. It would cost us $4k to get out of the contract now. A catalog should be arriving today. Rafus and G&K also discussed continuing the rag service which would be allowed but they would have to drop off/ pick up at the Marlboro garage.

The group also briefly discussed truck #5. The work will cost more than anticipated ($52-53k in house and $58-59k sent out). They will discuss further at the next budget meeting.
