Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 7:01 p.m. Selectboard members Lewis Sumner, Brad Rafus, and Mitchell Green were present, as were Cara Cheyette and Robbin Gabriel.

New Business

Interviews with PC/ZBA Candidates

Lewis Sumner made a motion to enter executive session to interview candidates for open positions on the Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Adjustment. Mitch Green seconded the motion, which passed, 3-0.

Cara Cheyette said it was legally permissible to call an executive session for this purpose, but asked why the Board wanted to do so. Sumner and Brad Rafus said applicants might be more comfortable responding to questions or discussing opinions and personal views, and Green said interviewing personnel in executive session was standard procedure. Cheyette then left the meeting, and the Board entered executive session.

The Selectboard exited executive session at 8:15. No decisions were made.

One additional interview will be held in executive session immediately prior to the regular April 5^th, 2015 meeting.
