Josh Road Bridge Inspection
Selectmen Lewis Sumner and Brad Rafus met with VTrans representatives Meghan Brunk, Marc Pickering, and Sven Scribner (structural engineer) at 9:00 a.m. at the Josh Road bridge (#31) to examine the structure and consider improvements which would permit an increase in the legal weight limit.

Josh Road, from its intersection with Jacksonville Stage Road and including the bridge, is a Class 3 road; road and bridge maintenance is eligible for state-funded assistance. The road provides access to several properties, and to Stafford Cemetery.

VTrans will be providing the Selectboard with recommendations and cost estimates for an upgrade to the bridge.
