Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Selectboard members Lewis Sumner and Bradley Rafus were present; Mitchell Green was unable to attend. Robbin Gabriel was also present.

Changes and/or Additions to Agenda

None.

Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes

Lewis Sumner made a motion to approve the 1/3/2017 regular meeting minutes as written. Brad Rafus seconded the motion, which passed, 2-0.

Sumner made a motion to approve the 1/14/2017 special meeting minutes as written. Rafus seconded the motion, which passed, 2-0.

Rafus made a motion to approve the 1/31/2017 special meeting minutes as written. Sumner seconded the motion, which passed, 2-0.

New Business

Kasey Kathan, Vermont Dept. of Environmental Conservation—PFC Discussion
Due to weather and travel conditions, this item was rescheduled to be heard at the February 21, 2017 regular Selectboard meeting.

Review/Sign Annual State Mileage Certificate
Sumner made a motion to sign the annual state mileage certificate with no changes. Rafus seconded the motion, which passed, 2-0.

Set Date for 2017 Selectboard/School Informational Meeting
Sumner made a motion to set the date for the 2017 Pre-Town Meeting Informational Meeting on Tuesday, February 28^th, 2017, 7:00 p.m., in the Halifax School multi-purpose room. Rafus seconded the motion, which passed, 2-0. Paul Blais will act as moderator that evening.

Sign Orders to the Treasurer

The Selectboard’s Order to the Treasurer was reviewed and signed.

Correspondence

Various pieces of correspondence were reviewed. A letter from Green Mountain Power advised the town street lights would be changed to LED prior to April 1^st, 2018. The change will reduce cost of operating the lights.
