SELECTBOARD SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES—APPROVED

DECEMBER 20, 2022

CALL TO ORDER:

Silverberg called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm. Selectboard members present were Pete Silverberg, Paul Blais, and Tristan Roberts. Others in attendance in person or remotely were Edee Edwards, Mary Brewster Raquel Smith, Becca Balint, Robin Gabriel and Mike Fournier.

APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES:

NEW BUSINESS

The board discussed the rest of the budget. Constable at $5,000. Assistant treasurer is at $1,000. We will check with Patty on that one. Ave Conferences and training is at $750. We have not spent much on that. Repairs and Maintenance (is for the office). We are going to check what has been spent last year in this fund. Dues and subscriptions. Blais noted that we do not have a budget line item for HWY advertisement. We will check with Patty where that budget is coming out of. The data that we are looking at appears to be under spent. Auditor supplies will go from 0 to $250 for the new auditors. Computer supplies will goto $2,500 to cover a new computer for Roza. Planning commission supplies and expenses will stay the same at $750. So far they have spent $700.n The board will check with Turner Lewis on that. Planning commission and expenses are at $0. Internet and Constable expenses are both at $0. Lease agreements is at $3,000. The broadband committee is at $500. We are going to keep helping DV Fiber with outreach. Accounting services will not be needed so we will make $0 for now and check with Patty if there are n=other services we may need from them. 

Roberts made a motion to adjourn the special meeting so we can have our regular meeting on schedule at 6pm. The motion was seconded by Silverberg, passed 3-0.
