SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

June 25, 2012

Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 9:01 AM at the Halifax Town Garage.  Board members in attendance were Lewis Sumner, Edee Edwards and Earl Holtz.  Others in attendance were Brad Rafus, Keith Stone, Ben Barnett, Michael Fournier, and Travis Briggs.

Hearing of Visitors

No visitors were present.

Executive Session

Edee Edwards made a motion to go into Executive Session to do performance appraisals for each of the road crew members listed above, individually.  It was seconded by Lewis Sumner, and passed 3-0.

Each staff member was asked into Executive Session in turn, with Brad Rafus being invited in at the start and again at the end.

At 12:30 PM, the Selectboard members returned from Executive Session.  No decisions were made.

The Selectboard thanked the road crew as a team for their hard work during the year, from Irene to their daily efforts, and received feedback about pay rates and hours.

Meeting was adjourned at 12:50 PM.
