MINUTES

March 1, 2011

Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 6:07 PM.  Board members in attendance were John LaFlamme, Lewis Sumner, and Edee Edwards.  Others in attendance were Mark Halverson, Earl B. Holtz, Elaina LaFlamme, Michael LaFlamme, and Board Secretary Phyllis Evanuk.

Mr. LaFlamme advised that the purpose of this meeting was to prepare the order so that bills could be paid.  He advised that usually at this meeting they did not conduct any other business, but as there were visitors he would give them the opportunity to speak.

Mr. Halverson advised he was just waiting to count ballots when the polls close.

Mr. Holtz advised that there is a “Mariana Trench” developing in the middle of Collins Road.  Mr. Sumner advised it is due to frost heaves.  The consensus was that nothing can be done until the ground thaws.  It was noted that there are many places in town with the problem.

Selectmen’s Order to Town Treasurer for bill payment

The order for payment of bills was completed and signed.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:27 PM.
